Is this news true? Has Baba Adeboye retired as the GO of RCCG?

I checked in Nairaland this afternoon as was greeted with the news that Pastor E A Adeboye has retired and handed over to Pastor Obayemi as his successor...

Then I went ahead to do a Google search to check
so I don't carry rumors...

See what I saw trending on Twitter already...

Now I am not sure but maybe it is true. I would wait till I hear from the horses mouth though. Perhaps Bloggers are just looking for ways to drive traffic to their blogs?

Finally, I visited the official website of RCCG, but there is no news of this sort there as yet.

Anyways, that is what I saw. I am yet to confirm if it is true or not.
